Heat is a powerful force in our world. It hardens things, warms them up, burns them, and purifies them. It has forced us to grow and bond as a team as well as cover each others weaknesses. God has taught me so much in such a short amount of time, its incredible! Im learning about how our living sacrifices burn away the sin in our lives and purify the good things at the same time. Ive learned to truly listen to Gods voice and to act upon that no matter what that means. Like just yesterday I felt God telling me to share an experience that helped mold me to a church and felt no fear in speaking to them. Praise God!
Training camp. Wow. I feel like a months worth of information was downloaded to my head in 4 days. Between the different seminars, discussions with team mates, and wisdom from our leaders Ive been so blessed to have gone to training camp. I feel like it has really prepared me and encouraged me to be bold for God and proclaim his name fearlessly. My friend Brent has helped me to understand that training camp gets us pumped up and on a spiritual high, but when the real world hits we will struggle. It is then our goal to learn what God is teaching us and find our way back to that high area of camp.
Shout out to Matt Just for turning 21 yesterday! He celebrated his birthday in style asking only for peanuts on the plane and some good ole team unity.
God is moving in huge ways in my life, my team mates lives, and the lives of those around us. I cant wait to see the mountains that God will move during these two months. Thankyou to everyone who helped me get here and those that are praying for me (and us). Please pray for continued good health, our team unity and growth, and for the people we come in contact with.
