The theme lately seems to be “everything”. From how God is using me to how He is growing me, the theme of everything just keeps coming up.
One way that God has used me and others on the team so far is in a skit known as the Everything skit. The chorus of the song the skit is put to is “You´re all I want, You´re all I need, You´re everything. So how can I stand here with you and not be moved by you? Could you tell me how it could it be any better than this?” It´s an amazing and intense representation of God´s love for us, our sin, and God´s desire and ability to save us and restore our purity. It has been a blessing to get to be a part of something so powerful. It´s cool to minister to people without even using words. But the skit is just the start of God´s repetitive use of the theme of “everything” in my life. God is reminding me that He really is my everything, and what that actually means. He´s showing me that He really wants me to give Him everything. I´m learning what it looks like to actually give God everything. I´m learning that not only do I want to give God everything, but that He wants everything. And He makes it so easy to give it all to Him. Just by resting in Him and giving in to His all consuming love, He does the rest of the work. Hmmm, yeah still learning that one. I am excited to continue resting in Him, rejoicing in Him, and giving Him everything. I know that as I give Him everything and accept everything He has for me, He is working mighty things in me.
God just wants us to live with our hands open— giving Him everything and accepting everything He gives to us. Wow, living like that would really change things. That´s what God is showing me, and that´s what I want do. And Praise the Lord, because He makes it all possible!!
