Well first of all, training camp was AWESOME, and so is Peru.
At training camp we did a lot of worship and team building. It was such a good time to get closer to my team mates, and alos closer to God.
Anyways, yall are probably wondering why the tital of this blog is “Set Free”, just hold on and I will tell you in a moment (uno momento).
You see, at training, God really opened my heart to some pretty nasty things in my life as far as sins that I had not yet come to terms with and grudges that I had not let go of. It got to the point where I found myself just weaping, I could not handle it any longer. The second night we went to service and Micheal Hinds, the head over Real Life, preached about prisons that we find ourselves in, like the prison of regret, of comparison, of bitterness, and of pride. The fact of the matter is that I found myself that night in just about all of these prisons and I just had to get out no matter what it took. Then he reminded me that there was a way out, a very easy way out, it is through Jesus. When he said that I was just like DUUUHHH!!!! I could not believe that I had let myself believe that I could not be fully forgiven. So it was that night that I walked out of many prisons I had in my heart, I was Set Free! Now I hope I explained the tital good enough, because I am not going to change it. Haha
SOY LIBRE!!!!
I love you all and am praying for you while you are doing the same for me. BTW, Sunday will be the last day we will be in Iquitos, after that we have a day and a half of travel down the Amazon to get to our next location.
