You are Peruvian now!

You are Peruvian now! A comment made by my brother Johnny when we were all playing soccer. What does that mean? This team was welcomed into Peru with open arms. We are already changing lives and God is blessing us and changing our lives.

The fact that my Peruvian brother says that I am Peruvian now tells me that we are one. We are all one in Christ. It doesn´t matter if you´re from America, Peru, Nicaragua, Honduras, or anywhere else. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ. As my friend Juan told me yesterday "I am coffee, you are milk" (referring to skin color) we look totally different, we speak a different language, and we live in a different culture. Does that matter to God? NO! God does not care about any of that. He cares about what is in our hearts.

If I can´t stress anything else to anyone, just remember that we are all one in Christ. I know that we all hear that all the time, but it has been made real for me while here in Iquitos. Johnny and Juan are not just mi amigos, they are mi hermanos (my brothers) and God is using them to bless me, and vice versa. I look forward to what God has in store for us in the coming weeks, because I know it will be great. So, until I can blog again, take care, pray for our team and the Peruvians that we will come into contact with, and GOD BLESS YOU!
