¡Hola a mi familia y amigos!

Yaayy! I found a computer! I can´t upload pics, so idk if thats gonna happen at all while on the trip :(… We´ll see… Anyway Iquitos is amazing. The people are really nice, the markets are just like TV, the river is massive, fuits are exotic, motokars are fun, climate is a sauna, food is delicious, the team is amazing, and God is infintely better than all that.

We´ve been doing ministry in the prison since Sunday, and I can see a strong desire to know God more in many of the prisoners. Yesterday I was praying over someone who said they had some sort of problem ever since childhood. He fell to the ground, seemingly unconscious, as I was on the ground holding his head Grant, Emily and I were praying for him and I started to boldly proclaim the freedom he has in Christ from this problem. After declaring God´s truth over his life I commanded (in English, which he doesn´t understand) that he would open his eyes and accept the freedom that God sent His son to due on a cross for. He opened his eyes and stood up. When he stood up there was a crowd between us so I couldn´t continue praying for him, but Grant continued proclaiming truth through prayer over him. He later told one of the Spanish-speakers on the team that he while praying he became a free man. He is free from what I gathere was a mental problem he´s had since childhood. God is making the men of this prison more free than most non-prisoners can understand. That´s just how great He is.

Also I want to mention that today we preached about repentance and what a joy and a blessing it is. Just as the prodigal son repented and his father had a celebration for him, we had a celebration for all the repentance that these prisoners said in their hearts. We put on some fast-paced praise songs then some of the prisoners, Grant, Eoghan, and I all danced around praising God for His grace, mercy, joy, redemption, and hope. Dancing in a prison in the amazon with a bunch of Godly men was absolutely mind blowing.

AHH! There are so many stories I wish I could share! For now just know that God is greater than anyone could ever imagine, and more than anything, just getting to know Him has been the most amazing thing about this trip. YAAAYYYY Jesus!!!

P.S. Spanish worship is soooo legit
