I LOVE IT HERE! Iquitos is so amazing and I just love riding around on the little motocar taxis. The team is bonding so well and everyone does such an amazing job of lifting each other up. I have never felt more in touch with the Holy Spirt until this trip. They said this would be life changing but I had no idea!   Between travel time and planning time we really only started our ministry just yesterday. Hola!  Estamos en Iquitos, Peru!!  We arrived here in Iquitos after a few days of lost tickets, exploding Gatorade, dancing in airports and ministering to people along the way.  God was so faithful to bring us all here in good health and with all of our luggage.  We are staying in a beautiful building in Iquitos as we enter into prision ministry this week.  The team is already doing a great job of planning what that will look like, getting ready to preach, do dramas, and bring God’s love and kingdom.  All this umongst motorcar adventures, 3rd world...

I just received a call from the team leaders and the team has arrived safe and sound in Peru.  They are settling in for the night with their host and all is well.  The team is in good spirits and very excited for what’s to come.  They’ll be finding internet and posting blogs as soon as they can.  Thank you for your prayers!

I told my team yesterday, our third day together, that this was not what I expected; they were not what I expected.   I expected change in them, but not instant transformation.  I expected participants that wanted to do good things, but who were not ready to bring the fire and kingdom of God here to the earth.  I didn’t expect them to choose into this, this community, this calling, their daughtership and sonship so readily.  And so I repent of false expectations.  Because I’ve seen God’s glory come down the past three days and I have...

Hola friends and family,   God is sooooo good!  These past couple days have been awesome and God has proven Himself real to me.  Also, I am so encouraged by the team and unity that God has already given us and I’m so excited for it to grow even more!  There is so much life here and as mentioned before, God has shown Himself real.  The team has grown so close and I know personally, I am free to open up already with issues pressing on my heart, even after only 3 days.  One especially is apathy and even since Saturday, there has been more joy and peace...
