¡Estamos en Peru!

Buenos tardes con todos! (good afternoon everybody) We are safely here in Nauta Peru. We have been here for two (ish) days, and have started brainstorming as a team and planning our ministry. Its been a really strange feeling being back here after such a relatively short period of time, and I am so excited for the things that I am already seeing in our team. On our travel day we ended up sleeping in the Lima airport on the floor, on benches, pretty much anywhere we could stretch out. It was a long day, since we left Toccoa at 530 or so on Tuesday morning, and didnt go fully to bed until...

Made it Safely

We just spoke with the team leaders and they've all arrived safely in Peru.  They are in route to their ministry site via some very long bus rides and will be settling in these next few days and getting some orientation from their host.  Expect to see some blogs rolling out in the next few days as they find internet. Thanks for all the prayers for this team! The Passport field support team

¡Hola!     Esta semana eh estado en Toccoa Falls, Georgia preparando me para el viajé misionera ah Perú! Training Camp

Hola! I'm currently in Toccoa Falls, Georgia on my last day of training camp.  It's been quite the crazy week for me and I am ready to roll out to Peru!  (Give me a little slack here, because I'm not a very good blogger!!) Just want to give you a little recap on what went down here in Georgia at the training camp. We got here Friday night (June 1st) and that night we just had supper and a worship night. It was a super chill night. However Saturday and Sunday were full of activities for team bonding.  Some of the crazy things they had us do were create a shelter...

While we can still drink the water

Greetings from Taccoa Falls! We have nearly completed training camp here at Taccoa Falls College in the-middle-of-no-where Georgia, and I am still alive! After the process of packing and saying goodbye to my friends and family (which I wasn’t sure I would survive), I will say that I definitely didn’t know what to expect regarding any part of this trip—but mostly training camp. I had heard some crazy stories and was trying to remain open-minded and willing to experience whatever it was that the Lord wanted me to encounter at training camp. Before I left, I was constantly...
