Hello everyone! As most of you know, I left on the 3rd to meetup with my Real Life team destined for Peru. Since then, in such a short amaount of time, my team has become my family and we are all already so close! I truly believer that God put together an amazing group of people for this trip! Training Camp was amazing, from sleeping under the stars with only our sleeping bags on the first night, to learning how to build each other up and better listen for God's voice. The Holy Spirit was truly moving in all the groups there and it really got me pumped and ready to leave!
Our flights went well, and gave us some amazing sights of God's creation, from the ocean, to the Andes, to the curving Amazon, it was all beautiful! Now we are in Iquitos, and I love this city! We are staying in a hostel with our missionary contact and ride some amazing motorbike taxis to get everywhere. I love it! We have been visiting small groups/churches, giving testimonies and devotionals, and saying whatever God puts on our hearts. The people have been so grateful and welcoming, I feel we are really encouraging them. If only they knew how much they were encouraging us as well! We also took part in prison ministry, which was absolutly amazing! I love all the ladies we met and truly enjoyed the time we spent with them! They were very hospitable, giving us some beaded jewelry and keychains they made and throwing a suprise birthday party for a couple of the girls in our group. Seeing the way they love Jesus was truly inspiring!
Thank you all for the prayers and support! I love you all and miss you! Keep praying for team unity, our general health, that the Lord will give us words to say, and the peoples' hearts will be open and receptive. Thank You again!
