The time here has been great! God had given our team a closeness that I have never felt in people outside my family. We have only been together for less than a week, and it feels like weeks. Time is going to go by so fast, it already is.
Speaking to someone who does not know english is amazing, nerve racking, and..amazing. Today we went to a group of high school students in a school and talked to them. After a few people, Lakin, Keith, Jared and Derrick talked we prayed for a few people and then just began to hangout with them and talk. I know NOTHING of spanish. I learned a little from going to th prison this morning, but besides holla and como esta, I can´t get very far. So, I had a translator part of the time thankfully, but I had a group of teens and their teacher who liked to listen to me, even if they didnt understand me. They REALLY like laughing at me. 😀 They wanted me to sing….so…I sang. I can´t sing..so everytime I my voice cracked they would laugh. He he.
I was under the impression that we were coming back tomorrow to do a drama (which we had given no thought to yet) they said that they wanted to learn how to do a drama so I said maybe when we came back we could teach them, then the teacher said that we could use his class hour to do it. I was like that is so awesome! But we will have to check with leaders. Anyways. We found out we WERENT coming back, and everyone had been saying we were coming back to do the drama. Well we decide in that moment to do a skit. 5 minutes later, me. Derrick, Hannah, and Jared are making fools of ourselves in a short skit.
It was amazing. They did not want us to leave. The kids attacked Keiths wrist, he had ¨threads of hope¨ bracelets on, he couldnt even pull them off to hand them to them. IT was great.
MotoKarts are awesome.

I can´t wait to go to the amazon.
And God, is fantastic, he is my true love and will always be. He has shown himself in our team over and over and OVER. And we are all in love with him!!
