Before I came on this trip I asked the LORD to have me fall in love with Him and be surrounded by people who are in the same boat. I mean, I already love Him but I want more — I want to fall in love with Him. I want to have such a deep relationship with Him that almost none can fathom. Training camp has been an amazing experience. However, connecting with my teammates throughout this experience has been even more amazing! I shared with some of my teammates that I know it was no coincidence that I have been chosen to be a part of this particular team. They are all either looking for the same thing I am or already have what I’m looking for and what has been my prayer for some time now — LOVE. Love for our Savior, love for each other, love for the lost; pure, deep, genuine, uninhibited love. It’s exciting and amazing to witness! I can’t wait until we leave for Peru tomorrow morning. I know the LORD is going to use each and every one of us on this team for His glory to bring salvation, to heal and to perform miracles just as He did not just to the people He places in our path in Peru, but to all the ends of the earth! I haven’t completely reached the point where I want to be, but then again, this journey is just beginning. Please continue praying for our team as we continue to follow God’s voice and calling on our lives. I love and miss all of you back home dearly and I promise I will come back with AMAZING stories to share that will blow your mind!
