Who the heck am I?
All my life, I have found myself constantly asking that question. I´d figure it out on my own and then come to realize that I was wrong. It was a pattern that put me in chains for so long. But God has a different plan for me.
God has a plan for me to prosper.
God has a plan for me to rejoice.
God has a plan for me to flourish in Him.
God has a plan for me to love.
God has a plan for me to serve.
God has a plan for me.
In this plan, I was sent to the Amazon Jungle in Peru. Not by my own strength, but by His. And definitely not by my own desire, but by faith in what He has for me. And let me just tell you how freaking faithful our God is. I have walked in chains, living in fear of disappointing my Lord. But what I had not yet realized is that when it comes to disappointment, there is none is Jesus Christ.
God, the Creator of this whole entire HUGE universe is my Daddy.
God, the one who placed every single beautiful star in the sky is my Daddy.
God, the Healer and Redeemer is MY DADDY.
I am a precious daughter of the One Most High!
Now what does that even mean?!
It means that He loves me no matter what I do, no matter what I say, and no matter where I am. It means that every time that I mess up, He doesn´t even notice. It means that every time I stray away, He misses me. The freaking Lord of Lords misses ME when I am away from Him! Whaaaat?!
He is my Daddy and I am His daughter.
I am adopted into His family, and that is a relationship. No matter what I do in my life, I am always His daughter and He will ALWAYS love me.
