Hello all!
Today we head into the jungle for a month, so I thought I would post a quick update.
Last time I made a post about Manly Things, the things that us men were excited to experience during our jungle adventure. I wanted to add to that post, but on a more serious note. I believe I can speak for all of us men here when I say that God is changing us. Before this point, we were growing, searching, and asking what exactly it means to be a man. Is it how much hair you have on your chest? Do you qualify by having enough scars and epic stories? Does it mean that you are successful? No. We are realizing that it means something much more. The bar is much higher than we have ever expected. To be honest, I don’t know yet what exactly is going to happen on this trip, but I know three things and I want to assure everyone at home about them.
1. We men will use every once of strength that Christ gives us to protect the women on this trip in every way, and to bring the sword of God’s power and truth wherever we go.
2. We will stand firm against every attack of Satan and darkness because we stand for Christ and we stand together.
3. When we return home, we will no longer be the boys we once were, but we will be men of God. Sons of the Almighty.
