Hola.
Peru is amazing! Amazing. I love everything about this place. The city is wonderful and so are the people. We have had so much fun. Riding around in motokars and laughing as we run though 7 red lights and drive on the wrong side of the road. We have got to sleep out on the roof under the stars. I Held a snake, and I got bit by a monkey, but don´t worry I´m alive. We got to go to the zoo and play soccer with some of the friends we made at the church and all of that has been amazing, but even more amazing then that is the ministry we have got to be a part of.
We have been working in the prison all week and we have been getting to share our lives with the men and women who are there and we have seen so many of them come to know the Lord in just a week. One women who has changed my life is Miguelina! She is an older woman who has been in jail for about 7 years so far and about three years ago she gave her life to God. She has the most beautiful faith I have ever seen! She is amazing and I ask that you pray for her. She was supposed to be in jail for another 7 years but a couple of us girls prayed for her freedom. We knew that a woman like her deserved to be sharing her heart with the world. We found out yesterday that she is being released soon. What?!?! YES!! praise God!! I pray that one day I have a faith like hers. It´s amazing.
God has been doing a lot in my life too. He has shown me what it looks like to have constant support, love and prayer from people who were strangers and became my family. He has shown me the beauty and excitement of trying new things. I am learning to love, to trust and to enjoy cold showers. I am thankfull for every good and hard time so far because I know that God is working it out for his glory. I have also learned that God can break through all of the barriers of language and culture. Oh and people here love to kiss so expect kisses from us very soon.

oh and we leave on a boat for the jungle tuesday!! so no communication, but Im ready to see what God has for us.
