…sometimes just doesn´t cut it. Every so often there is something that happens that goes beyond that and catches you off guard. Yesterday we got on a large boat expecting to be on it for a day and a half with our supplies to go to a village down the river for ministry. Knowing Peru we weren´t surprised when the boat was still at the dock 3 hours after it was supposed to leave.
However.
The unexpected struck when we learned that the boat had been delayed for 24 hours! Woah! Not only that but the boat was so much more crowded than we thought! Despite these unexpected happenings our group has kept great positive attitude and we have all learned how to handle the things we can´t possibly expect.
God has been teaching me to obey his callings, whatever they may be. Earlier this week it was to encourage a local Christian leadership ministry with 1 Corinthians 14 even when I was nervous and not confident in my words. Following that call anyways though helped grow my faith and know that when we are following God´s plan he will take care of us. No matter what.
He gives us Words to speak.
He gives us Patience like saints.
He gives us Perfect timing.
He gives us confidence in Him.
He gives us what we need when we need it for His Glory
