Being the hands and feet of God is INCREDIBLE!
Basically, being in Peru sucks…
….Totally Kidding! If you didn´t catch on earlier, my team being in Peru is INCREDIBLE! We have been bonding with each other and with the Peruvians. Today, the girls on the team were able to go back to the prison we visited yesterday. Every girl on the team opened their hearts to the women and in return, God opened their hearts to us! After we "chatted" aka picked out the only spanish words we knew, the women found out mine and Laynie´s birthdays are coming up. The women got together are decided to throw us a birthday party! I am humbled beyond words! They sang to us and gave us gifts, but the best gift was the love that they gave us so freely. It was encouraging to see these women who are stuck behind prison walls, away from their families, having such a positive outlook. They had such wonderful hearts! Please keep these women and their families in your prayers! We love you allllllllll!!!!!
